MOVIESTAR MORPH 8
Number 8! Hmmm...who are these two very talented ladies spliced together? They were born twelve years apart, they both have family members who became famous actors in their own right!
Wow, this one is hard. I don't readily see anyone, but Judy Garland keeps coming to mind. However, I know she did not win an Academy Award, so it can't be her.
I'm also going with Judy Holliday; however, though I know she did win an Oscar, I have no idea if her son is an actor, so she may not meet the criteria either.
At any rate, I'm going with the 2 Judy's on this one. Can't wait to find out who it actually is.
Judy Garland was the first one I thought I saw as well, even though like Patti said, it can't be her. I'm going guess Anne Baxter as 1/2 the morph? Something about the eyes... I also get Kathryn Grayson vibes, but she also never won an oscar (I don't think), so can't be her either. Tough one!
My mistake! You were both right, DKoren and Patti - it IS Judy Garland. I was convinced she won for A Star Is Born - but to my surprise she was only nominated! Thank you both for your eagle-eyed-ness (if there is such a word) and my apologies for sending you in the wrong direction!
Alyssa gave us the other half of the puzzle - well done! Tomorrow we'll see the complete morph from Judy to Shirley

ReplyDeleteThis is a hard one, is one of them Shirley Maclaine?

Good eyes, Alyssa. I don't see Shirley MacLaine at all. I look forward to the completed morph.
ReplyDeleteAnd, Johan, I think many people were as surprised as you that Grace Kelly upset Judy that year.
